As the COVID-19 pandemic is still with us, Esri South Africa remains committed to the health and safety of our staff, customers and partners. In terms of our business continuity planning, Esri South Africa has systems, processes and resource pools in place to ensure there is no disruption to services – across both technical and general customer support.
Esri South Africa offices
All Esri South Africa offices are open, and all the required precautionary measures implemented as required by COVID-19 Regulations. It is required from all staff and clients going to our offices to:
- check in on arrival (either by using the ArcGIS Survey123 application or completing the form at reception)
- wear a mask
- maintain, at least, a 1.5 m social distance between one another
- sanitise your hands frequently with sanitiser that are placed strategically on various places in the building.

Professional Services – Our Professional Services team continues to operate as normal; Project Managers are to be contacted via the usual channels. We are fully committed to supporting all our customers and have policies and procedures in place to ensure the continuity of our services.
Training Services – Training and Diploma contact sessions have resumed with the onset of Lockdown Level 1 with limited seats. Classroom numbers are limited to observe social distancing during the sessions. We are continuing to offer our Instructor-Led Online Training. The Training Department administrative team are available to respond to all training related enquiries/requests.
Technical Support – Our Technical Support team continues to operate as normal, with access available via all the usual channels. We are fully committed to supporting all our customers and have policies and procedures in place to ensure the continuity of our support services. Wherever possible, we would ask that customers submit requests via support@esri-southafrica.com to allow us to validate details and respond most efficiently.

Disaster Response Program
Esri’s Disaster Response Program assists with global disasters, offering GIS technology and expertise to support response and relief efforts. We are already providing support to public health agencies and other key organisations, helping them with their response to COVID-19.
